What Mind Gathering is

Mind Gathering is a collaborative thinking platform where participants explore shared questions through AI-facilitated conversations. Your thinking is distilled into a “piece” that can be shared with other participants after a deadline.

What we collect

  • Account information: Your name and email address when you sign in with Google or email magic link.
  • Conversation content: Messages you exchange with the AI host during a gathering.
  • Pieces: The distilled thought pieces generated from your conversations.

How we use it

  • To authenticate you and identify your contributions.
  • To generate and display your thought pieces to other participants (only when you choose to publish them, or after the gathering deadline).
  • To improve the platform experience.

What we don’t do

  • We do not sell your data to third parties.
  • We do not share your email address with other participants.
  • We do not use your data for advertising.

Third-party services

We use the following services to operate Mind Gathering:

  • Google OAuth: For sign-in authentication.
  • Resend: For sending sign-in emails.
  • Anthropic (Claude): For AI-facilitated conversations. Your messages are sent to Anthropic’s API to generate responses.
  • Neon: For database storage.
  • Vercel: For hosting.

Data retention

Your account information and conversation data are retained for as long as your account exists. Published pieces may remain visible to other participants after a gathering ends.

Your rights

You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by emailing cindy@mindgathering.club.
